This is definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in London which I've been to. All credits go to Joel for discovering this place! The close proximity to the Towers has made it one of our top 5 eating options, esp. on days when we just want to hang out in the neighbourhood.

This restaurant is frequented by Thai people and other Asians, which is a big vote of confidence that this is not one of those "modern" Thai restaurants catering to western taste buds (read: non-spicy). The menu rates every dish with the degree of spiciness and those marked with 2 chillis are properly spicy. For those who can't take spicy food (e.g. Glen), there are also plenty of non-spicy options to choose from!

Highly recommended:
Pla Pad Prik Sod - deep fried cod with morning glory (aka kang-kong)
Cod pieces in batter and deep fried to perfection. Remain crispy even after being mixed in the garlic, chilli and soy-based sauce. Good combination with the greens to make up a healthy meal!
Yam Pla Meuk - spicy squid salad
The sweet and sour dressing certainly wets your appetite for more good food to follow! The squid has a nice springy texture but not to the point of being overly chewy.

Recommended:
Tom Yam soup
Choice of prawn, chicken or pork (Prawn is definitely the way to go unless you are allergic to seafood!)
Pai Thai noodles with prawns
Can't say this is exceptionally good... but I always have a soft spot for this dish ;)
Thai Pancake with vanilla ice cream
Light and fluffy pancake filled with pandan-flavoured custard filling. It's not too sweet (unlike most Thai desserts). Ice cream is average though.

I'm not too impressed with the Weeping Tiger (another of their popular specialities) which is sirloin beef served in a sizzling hot plate. Smells really good whenever other tables are having it (which was how we got tempted to try it). The accompanying sauce is pretty good too. Now if only they could use a better cut of the beef... the meat is really too tough!

There are plenty more which I haven't tried... next time(s)!
