Don't recall stepping into a Spanish restaurant before, so this could very well be my first time.

The ambience is relaxing and the entire place is dimly lit, which directly translates to an environment that is non-conducive for photography. Almost every other table had the fuel container lit except ours. With much persistent "reminders", we managed to get the waitress to light up our table as the light source is extremely important to make sense of the food photos I'd be taking later.

This was the first hint of slow services to come... slow food and slow drinks...

There is quite a decent selection of tapas. We ordered a hot tapas that consists of potatoes and sausage chunks, a spanish omelette with spinach and a paella dish that has pork and chicken in it.

Spanish Omelette

Paella

The sausage bits for the hot tapas were way too salty and tough, which resulted to my numerous requests to refill our ice water. On the other hand, the omelette looked like a cake and tasted blend. The paella was probably the saviour to a potentially "not so great" dinner. It's basically a rice platter with bits of meats. Does resemble a big plate of fried rice with generous chunks of pork/chicken, except that the rice is "marinated" with some kind of spicy tomato sauce.

All in all, our dining experience at this place is pretty forgettable.

Hehee... it's funny that you commented the food wasn't good, but it sure looked good in the pics!
