Was dragged invited to this restaurant last Friday after a long break since my 1st visit (during winter last year). Had a pretty good impression of the place back then (though one shouldn't really trust one's judgement after 3 pints!). Anyway, this time round, the restaurant was still as crowded as ever (which is a good sign).

I was impressed with the huge range of pizza toppings on their menu, neatly classified by the different styles of cuisines for various continents. For e.g. the pizza named London (grouped under Europe continent) has cumberland sausage, black pudding, bacon and egg etc for toppings... just what you would find in a classic english breakfast! Pizza Koh Samui (under Asia continent) is topped with green chicken curry, red chilli and mango etc... typically Thai indeed. With all these unusual selections, you'll end up reading the menu for a long time and still undecided over which one to choose!

Those who love traditional Italian pizza may not like the style of pizza here. I do find the pizza base a tad too heavy and the crust too thick and hard (the trick is to focus on the pizza center and not eat the crust?!), but they've made up for these shortcomings with generous toppings (though traditionalist would not like this). For a meat pizza, this seems to create another problem as too much meat toppings would render the pizza too dry...

Pizzas aside, I ordered a starter of deep fried goat's cheese with rocket salad which was good! Though I was kindly informed by my dinner companion that I had just flushed my diet plan down the drain. The rocket salad complements the huge slice of goat's cheese very well (and the pesto sauce adds a good touch overall).

This would be the place to go if one is tired of Italian pizzas and gamed for exotic toppings! I still prefer Pizza Express... ;)
